An Insider's Guide to Nintendo's Coming of Age

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Business card tiers are back up, but limited!
about 3 years ago – Wed, Feb 10, 2021 at 10:53:39 PM

Howard found a few more business cards, so the REPLAYING PIPE LEVEL is now live! Same price and rewards as before, including the set of three signed business cards, but there are only 10, so jump on it if you want it.

We also added two slightly smaller tiers for those interested: the PIPE SUBLEVEL 1 and 2 tiers offer you one business card instead of 3, at the discounted price of $109.

Also, the next Stretch Goal is almost hit: POWER UP, which will give the book a number of quality boosts. More Stretch Goals to come soon!

Goal reached in under a third of a day! More business cards coming! And some teasers from Howard himself...

Unbelievable—we set up a challenge and you guys knocked it out of the park in seven hours! And the first Stretch Goal has already been hit as well. Because of your generous support, Gamemaster Classified will be a reality and Howard and I couldn’t be happier! You have our sincerest thanks and our vow that we’ll put our all into making this book as rad as possible. On that note, I think it’s time I stop jabbering for a bit so you can hear from a man who needs no introduction...

Thanks Matthew!

Hey everyone - it's unclear who’s more excited right now: me to have the perfect format to share what really happened at Nintendo, or Matthew, who gets to bring it all back to life visually. This project is so great!

We have lots in store for our backers so keep tuned into these updates for the latest, including Sneak Peeks of book content. Also, we’ll let you know about additions to our Kickstarter project such as new tiers and Stretch Goals. On that note, tell your friends to tune in tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon at 5 PM Central Time for the release of more autographed Howard business card tiers (the first ones seemed to be very popular :)

Teaser time! 1) The NES literally landed in New York in October of 1985. How many (few?) Deluxe Sets were in that first air freight shipment destined to change the world?

Yep, that's all of them.

2) After my first video game job-related injury, coworker Craig Aurelio ran back into the office carrying what?

History can be gruesome!

3) Exactly how many copies of the very rare game Stadium Events were ever produced?

That number may be smaller than you think.

More info and Stretch Goal updates to come very soon. We're just getting started!
